Dog Bites Man In Morris Twp Park

MORRIS TWP, NJ— A man was attacked by a dog at a Morris Township park that does not allow dogs, Morris County Park Police said in a blotter.

A 72-year-old man was bit by a dog at Frelinghuysen Arboretum on March 5, despite the ban on dogs at that park. The man was treated by EMS at the scene.

An investigation revealed that another park-goer had two dogs with him. One got loose and bit the man. The dog owner was issued a summons with an upcoming court date.
