Please join us for our next free climate change movie screening on Saturday, May 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00pm. We are super excited for this one, and it is timely and urgent.
"Earth’s Greatest Enemy", the second feature film project by Abby Martin, is a groundbreaking anti-imperialist environmental documentary. With the increasing rhetoric that "might makes right", we have to remember that the future of humanity is contingent on ending the use of force by powerful nations to push their agendas. We must all come together and decide peacefully how to share this world and its resources, or we will have none left for our children and future generations.
"Exempt from international climate agreements and rarely scrutinized in mainstream reporting, the Pentagon is the world’s single largest institutional polluter. Combining investigative journalism, striking visuals, and stories from impacted communities, this film challenges audiences to rethink the hidden costs of a global military empire and its planetary consequences."
This event is organized by Mutual Morris and not the Morris County Library. Send questions or let us know if you're coming by email to info@mutualmorris.com. We will be in the public meeting room.
