Car Knocks Down Traffic Light In Morristown, Avoid Area: Police

It's not clear when the roadways will reopen.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Police are asking residents to avoid an area in Morristown after a car crashed into a traffic light.

On Friday, around 11:45 a.m., Morristown police sent out an alert for drivers to avoid the area of Bank Street and Anne Street due to "a motor vehicle crash that took down the traffic light."

Specifics on the crash were not immediately available. It's not clear how long the area will be closed.
