MPAC Announces Summer Lineup: See Who's Playing

Rock bands, comedians, and more will take the stage at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown this summer.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — From legendary rock bands and Broadway stars to family-friendly entertainment and free outdoor events, the Mayo Performing Arts Center has unveiled a packed summer lineup for 2026.

The season features performances from artists spanning multiple genres, including Chicago, The Stray Cats, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Darren Criss, Straight No Chaser, and more. The schedule also includes comedy from Abbott Elementary star Janelle James and dance performances from Derek Hough.

In addition to ticketed performances, MPAC will host a series of free community events throughout the summer, including Bollywood dancing, salsa lessons, country line dancing, outdoor concerts, and a free movie day.

Among the season's highlights is a sold-out performance by Chicago on June 14. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band has charted Top 40 albums across six consecutive decades and is known for hits including "Saturday in the Park," "If You Leave Me Now," and "Hard to Say I'm Sorry."

Rockabilly fans can catch The Stray Cats on Aug. 16. The trio helped bring rockabilly music back into the mainstream during the 1980s with hits such as "Rock This Town" and "Stray Cat Strut."

Comedy fans can see Abbott Elementary star Janelle James on July 11, while Derek Hough brings his high-energy "Symphony of Dance" production to Morristown for two nights in July.

Officials reminded patrons that the MPAC box office and website are the only official sources for purchasing tickets and parking passes for MPAC events. The organization advises customers to avoid third-party resellers to ensure tickets are legitimate.

The Mayo Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit performing arts organization in Morristown that presents concerts, comedy, family entertainment and educational programming throughout the year and serves as a cultural hub for northern New Jersey.
