New Aldi Coming To This Morris County Town
Some lucky customers will be walking out with a free bag of groceries on opening day, among other giveaways.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A popular grocery store is opening its second location in a Morris County town.
By the end of the month, residents in Rockaway will have two Aldi stores to choose from.
On June 25, Aldi will open at 327 Mount Hope Avenue, a ten-minute drive away from its Route 46 East location in Rockaway.

Shoppers can expect a sneak peek of the grocery store on June 24.
The first 200 customers who come to the store on opening day can walk out with a free tote bag, free bags filled with Aldi groceries, and a golden ticket that could be worth up to $100.

Aldi was originally founded in 1913 Germany as a small food store. It was turned into a grocery chain in 1946 and brought to the United States in 1976.
The store has become known for its budget-friendly prices and discounts. The second Rockaway location will be the 70th Aldi in New Jersey.
