5 Hospitalized After Bus Crash In Essex County
The bus driver, three passengers and the driver of the second vehicle were taken to the hospital after the collision, authorities said.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A bus and another vehicle collided in Essex County on Thursday morning, sending five people to the hospital, police said.
The crash took place when a NJ Transit bus and a private vehicle collided around 7:10 a.m. at 4th Street and Park Avenue in Newark, authorities said.
The bus driver, three passengers and the driver of the second vehicle were taken to University Hospital for treatment, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
