New Jersey’s museums, historical sites and parks offer a range of opportunities to learn about New Jersey’s centuries long African American history. Join us to learn about various opportunities for individuals and groups.
This is a program of the New Jersey Historical Commission's African American History Program. It is a part of "Freedom Seeker: America at 250 Years” which illuminates the ways African Americans in New Jersey fought for and helped build democracy in New Jersey and the United States over the past 250 years.
The New Jersey Historical Commission is a division of the New Jersey Department of State.
