New Technology Center Unveiled At Essex County College Campus
"This is a dream come true for us," a computer science major said.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Essex County College recently celebrated the grand opening of its Center for Technology on its Newark campus.
The college held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new center earlier this month. The facility provides students with access to modern learning environments, new computers, engineering 3D printers and “state-of-the-art” educational technology.
Essex County College president Augustine Boakye said the new center will help students keep pace in a rapidly evolving world of technology.

“This is a dream come true for us,” agreed Kelvin Annor Poku, a computer science major at the college.
Essex County College also has a campus in West Caldwell.
