NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Fourth of July activities in New Brunswick have extra sparkle in 2026, as this year is the 250th anniversary, or semiquincentennial, of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

New Brunswick fireworks July 3: New Brunswick hosts its annual Independence Day party from 6-9:30 p.m. in Boyd Park. The free, family-friendly event features live music, food vendors, and kids' activities, with the pyrotechnics over the Raritan River launching at roughly 9:15 p.m. Rain date is July 5.
