Bear Spotted Sleeping In Trees In Piscataway

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A bear was spotted roaming in Piscataway Thursday night, said police in that town.

The bear was spotted in the area of Bristol Road, said Piscataway Police. Residents also posted photos and videos to Facebook of the bear snoozing in a tree, as bears like to do.

Police are telling residents not to approach or feed the bear, but also not to call 911 if you see it. There is nothing police can do, unless the bear becomes aggressive.
