NJMVC Mobile Inspection Coming To New Milford Next Week

NEW MILFORD, NJ — Drivers can take advantage of New Jersey's mobile vehicle inspection unit next week.

Residents can go to the Knights Field parking lot (75 Madison Ave.) from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, July 13.

Inspections are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and no appointments are required. Vehicles may be inspected up to two months before their current inspection expires.

Vehicles that pass will receive a two-year inspection sticker, while new vehicles purchased from dealerships receive a five-year inspection sticker.

Those that fail inspection will receive a rejection sticker and a 30-day report, allowing owners time to make repairs before returning to an inspection facility for re-inspection.
