  • SLEEPING BEAUTY -- PLAZA THEATRE PRODUCTIONS
    Where/When: Saddle River Valley Cultural Center, Sunday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
    Why Go: Classic fairy tale is presented by Plaza Theatre for ages three and up
    Pricing: $10 for SRVCC members, $12 for non-members and $15 at the door
  • PRESIDENTS DAY HIKE AT FLAT ROCK BROOK
    Where/When: Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, Englewood, Monday Feb. 21 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. 
    Why Go: This hike is for children ages nine and up; please dress for the weather
    Pricing: $5 for non-members, free for members -- no reservation required

  • PRESIDENTS DAY AT THE NEWARK MUSEUM
    Where/When: Newark Museum, 49 Washington St., Newark, Monday, Feb. 22 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    Why Go: Hands on arts & science projects, scavenger hunts, planetarium and more
    Pricing: $10 for adults, $6 for children and seniors; additional fee for planetarium is $5 per adult, $3 per child/seniors
  • PRESIDENTIAL BRIEFCASE CRAFT
    Where/When: The Lakeshore Learning Store, 449 Essex Street, Hackensack, NJ on Saturday, Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    Why Go: Kids will make an American Flag shaped tote

  • NEW JERSEY CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
    Where/When: NJ Children's Museum, Paramus, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Why Go: The Children's Museum has a week of great activities planned for you and your little ones; Monday Feb. 21: Dinosaur crafts, Tuesday Feb. 22: Everything Pirate, Wednesday Feb. 23: Knights, Princesses & Castles, Thursday Feb. 24: Bead crafts, Friday Feb. 25: Anything Goes Crafts
    Pricing: $10 plus tax per adult and child; babies under one are free
