Lantern Hill Celebrates its Ten-Year Anniversary!
Residents enjoy unwinding with a glass of wine and conversation at Embers Wine Bar, a casual lounge at Lantern Hill.

Residents and staff members at Lantern Hill, an Erickson Senior Living community in New Providence, N.J., are thrilled to celebrate the community's 10th anniversary in June.
"Our anniversary festivities are a wonderful way for us to show the pride we have in our community and reflect on how far we've come," says Executive Director Todd DeLaney.
While the community has certainly evolved over the last decade, one aspect remains the same--the vibrant, social atmosphere that helps residents thrive.

To commemorate the occasion, residents and staff worked together to plan a communitywide celebration featuring live music as well as programs and events that recognize the community's history and its positive impact on people's lives.
Special attention was paid to "pioneer" residents, those who have lived at Lantern Hill since the community opened.
"It is important to recognize all the pioneer residents who helped create Lantern Hill's friendly culture and welcome new neighbors throughout the years," DeLaney says.
The festivities also recognize the impressive level of commitment and support that Lantern Hill's staff members continue to display.
"Our dedicated staff members really have a passion for what they do," says DeLaney, who boasts a 20-year career with Erickson Senior Living. "They have also helped foster the community's welcoming
atmosphere."
Investing in the future
To meet the ever-growing demand for Lantern Hill's vibrant lifestyle, the community continues to invest in its amenities and services.
"Lantern Hill is undertaking multiple renovation projects across campus, over a two-year period, to ensure the community stays fresh and new," says DeLaney.
Renovation plans include enlarging the marketplace; enhancing the lobby, all of the restaurants in Union Square, and the Fireside Lounge; and adding a Starbucks.
"We will end this year with an expanded marketplace, a refreshed lobby area, and brand-new restaurants--how exciting!" notes DeLaney. "This is a great way to celebrate ten years and look forward to the future."
Resident input
These upgraded amenities are based on resident feedback, as many residents were actively involved
in the planning and decision-making process.
"Through our Resident Advisory Council, we had a space planning committee that was very involved. They let us know the areas of opportunity and the amenities they'd like to see," he explains. "We genuinely care about what they want here at Lantern Hill. We're so grateful for their input."
DeLaney continues, "We will always ensure that our residents have the most attractive, modern amenities; we do not compromise on our standards. And staff members look for ways to enhance services year-round, as we recognize that there are many ways we can add value to the resident experience."
Don't wait!
Lantern Hill is on track to sell out, which DeLaney attributes to the vibrant, worry-free lifestyle that residents enjoy.
As a result, Sales Director Nick Rossiello recommends joining the Priority List. In addition to attending exclusive informational events at the community, members can save their spot in line for their desired floor plan.
"You don't want to miss out on the opportunity to live at Lantern Hill!" says DeLaney. "With all these exciting changes coming, Lantern Hill will remain a modern, engaging community for years to come."
