1 Airlifted After Boat Catches Fire In Ocean City
The boat was on a trailer in the roadway when it caught fire, officials said.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — One person was airlifted after a boat caught fire in Ocean City, officials said.
The boat was on a trailer in the road when Ocean City firefighters found it in flames Friday afternoon, the Ocean City Firefighters Association said.
The fire was quickly extinguished and the injured person was evaluated on scene before being airlifted to the Jefferson Burn Center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office.
