Duo Charged In Violent Jersey Shore Assault: Prosecutor
One of the victims was beaten unconscious with a bottle, authorities said.
NORTH WILDWOOD, NJ — A New Jersey teen and Philadelphia man face assault charges after a violent North Wildwood brawl, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office and North Wildwood police said.
Alpacino Carrero, 20, of Philadelphia and a 17-year-old boy from West Wildwood were charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and aggravated assault. The teen was additionally charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, robbery and another aggravated assault charge.
North Wildwood police were called to the area of 13th Avenue and Central Avenue just after 1 a.m. on June 22 for the report of a fight in progress, authorities said.

Police found three injured adults who were then taken to the hospital, officials said. One had become unconscious after being struck with a bottle, officials said.
The duo fled before police arrived, authorities said. Both were taken into custody that same day.
