NJ Motorcyclist Dies In Collision With SUV: Police
The motorcycle collided with a Jeep at an intersection in Upper Township, New Jersey State Police said.
UPPER TWP., NJ — A motorcyclist died Friday after being seriously injured the day before in a collision with a Jeep SUV, New Jersey State Police said.
The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. Thursday on Route 9 South in Upper Township, Tpr. II Christopher Postorino told Patch.
The Jeep was stopped at the intersection of Church Road and Route 9, Postorino said. A Honda motorcycle driven by Ralph Watson, 64, and occupant Susan Damore, 64, both of Ocean View, approached the intersection heading south, Postorino said.

The Jeep started to turn left onto Route 9 North when the motorcycle struck the SUV's driver's side, Postorino said.
Both Watson and Damore were hospitalized with serious injuries. On Sept. 4, Watson died from his injuries, Postorino said. No update on Damore's condition was shared.

The Jeep's driver sustained minor injuries, Postorino said.
The crash remains under investigation.
