Ocean City Fire Department Sets Open House
The free Ocean City event will include fire safety demonstrations, a helicopter landing and family activities.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City residents are invited to the Ocean City Fire Department’s annual Open House on Oct. 8 at the station at 550 Asbury Ave.
The free event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is being held by the department and IAFF Local 4032.
According to the event announcement, everybody in the community is invited. The open house comes during national Fire Prevention Month and is intended to give residents a chance to learn more about how the department works.

The event will include live fire safety demonstrations, a helicopter landing and an Atlantic City Electric demonstration. Organizers also said there will be face-painting, food, drinks and educational handouts for people who attend.
