Affordable Senior Housing Unit Available in Paramus

PARAMUS, NJ — The Borough of Paramus is accepting applications for an affordable senior housing rental opportunity at Brightview Senior Living.

A one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is available for immediate occupancy on a first-come, first-served basis at 396 Forest Ave.

Applicants not selected for the current opening will be placed on a waiting list for the next available unit.

Monthly rent for a one-person household ranges from $3,133 to $4,177, with eligible gross household incomes between $46,958 and $62,610.

For a two-person household, rent ranges from $3,342 to $4,459, with qualifying incomes between $50,085 and $66,780.

Rent includes scheduled transportation, utilities (excluding telephone service), housekeeping and linen service, breakfast and dinner prepared daily, 24-hour staff on site, and an emergency response system.

Applications are available by emailing affordablehousing@paramusborough.gov or by picking one up at the Paramus Affordable Housing Office, 105 North Farview Ave., Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
