$236K In Parsippany Town Hall Upgrades Green Lit By Council
The spending includes a second phase of roof replacement work and new computer equipment for the building.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany officials approved more than $236,000 in improvements to Town Hall this week, including roof repairs and upgrades to computer equipment in two municipal meeting spaces.

The larger of the two expenditures is a $161,704.69 contract with JCT Solutions for the purchase and installation of computer equipment and peripherals in the Council Chambers and mayor’s conference room.

The resolution did not mention specifics on what kind of equipment will be bought and installed. The contract is being made through the Bergen County Cooperative Purchasing System.
Council members also approved a $75,000 contract with Northeast Roof Maintenance Inc., of Perth Amboy, for the second phase of a partial roof replacement at Town Hall.

The two contracts total $236,704.69.
Both awards are being made through Bergen County cooperative purchasing contracts rather than through separate public bidding by Parsippany. State law allows municipalities participating in a duly formed cooperative purchasing system to acquire goods and services through contracts awarded by that system.
Funding for both projects is available through money appropriated in the township's 2026 budget, according to the resolutions.
