The weekly market in Parsippany is set to run from this week until Sept. 11 at Smith Field Park.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany residents will have a new Friday stop this summer as a community market opens at Smith Field Park on Route 46 East. The market is scheduled to run Fridays from June 5 through Sept. 11, with hours set for 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to the township.
The market will be held at Smith Field Park in Parsippany, and the announcement tells visitors to use the Grainge Road entrance off Route 46 East. The event is promoted as a place for residents to celebrate and support local farms and artisans while shopping close to home.
According to the announcement, shoppers can expect a range of farm and artisan products during the weekly market. Listed items include fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables, baked goods and artisan bread, cheese, dairy and eggs, honey, jams and preserves, flowers, plants and herbs, handmade crafts and unique art, and specialty foods and drinks.
