Pizza, Empanadas Fuse At New Parsippany Eatery

PARSIPPANY, NJ — When Parsippany families cannot decide whether they want Latin or Italian food on takeout night, a new eatery in Lake Hiawatha can help.

Pizzanada recently held its grand opening at 102 North Beverwyck Road in Lake Hiawatha. The event on Saturday marked Pizzanada's second shop opening in New Jersey.

During the grand opening event, guests enjoyed free pizza and empanadas, live music, and one lucky raffle ticket purchaser won free pizza for a year.

As its name might suggest, the establishment offers handcrafted pizza and empanadas, in addition to dozens of other options.

Customers can enjoy traditional pizzas, as well as specialty pies including Chicken Parmesan Pizza, Deep Dish Taco Pizza, and 5 Alarm Volcano Pie.

Of course, there is a wide selection of empanadas to choose from, from classic beef and cheese or chicken, to more unique types like Italian Hot Dog Empanadas and Mac & Cheese Empanadas.

Those who simply can't decide, don't fret. There are also pizza-filled empanadas for those who want to enjoy the best of both worlds. Sweet empanadas, including one with peanut butter and jelly, are also available.

Guests can also pick a wide variety of sandwiches, pasta dishes, tacos, and more from Pizzanada's extensive menu. Plus, nearly all dishes can be made vegan, according to the menu.

Delivery is available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Pickup is available from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Pizzanada is closed on Tuesday.
