Point Pleasant Beach Schools Update: Snow Closure
The district updated its status after a storm delivered 4 to 6 inches of snow to Ocean County.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach School District is closed Wednesday, Feb. 12, after overnight snow across the area.
The district updated its weather status about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday after initially announcing a delayed opening because of hazardous driving conditions.
The Ocean County Sheriff's Office was warning drivers to be cautious in the wake of multiple crashes in the area by 6:30 a.m.

The National Weather Service forecast predicted 4 to 6 inches of snow across most of Ocean County beginning Tuesday afternoon and continuing through 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
