Ocean County Man Seriously Injured In I-195 Crash, Police Say
The man's Jeep SUV ran off the road shortly after 6 a.m., New Jersey State Police said.
JACKSON, NJ — A Point Pleasant man was seriously injured on Friday when his SUV ran off the road on Interstate 195 in Jackson, New Jersey State Police said.
Adam M. Riepl, 38, was driving a Jeep SUV east on I-195when he ran off the road in the area of milepost 17.6 shortly after 6 a.m., Trooper Caitlin Brennan said.
The Jeep ran off the road to the left, struck the guardrail, went airborne and struck a concrete bridge rail before coming to a stop, she said.

Riepl suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital, she said.
The crash remains under investigation, Brennan said.
