'Sea Of Lights' Opens This Weekend At Jenkinson's In Point Pleasant

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The annual "Sea of Lights" begins at Jenkinson's Pavilion this Saturday, with new holiday characters ready to share sweet treats and festive stories with families.

The event is set for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 9, Dec. 16, Dec. 22, Dec. 23, Dec. 27 and Dec. 28.

There will be various forms of entertainment each night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and there is still time for kids to meet Santa and tell him their Christmas wish — or wait until after the 25th, when "Scuba Santa" makes his appearance at the Aquarium.

New holiday entertainment this year includes Princess Sweets and Treats with the Winter Princess and Queen, Elf Storytime, Snow-ville Shows with the green gift stealer, Eyes of the Wild Animal Shows, and holiday character meet and greets — including the happy reindeer and dancing snowman from your favorite “chilly” movie!

Families can get free photos with Santa at Jenkinson's Arcade from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 9, and he'll be on site Dec. 9, Dec. 16, Dec. 22, and Dec. 23 from 5-8 p.m.

On Dec. 27 and 28, Santa will be diving the tanks in the Aquarium at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (which can be viewed with admission purchased to get into the aquarium).
