5 To Take Oath Of Office At Princeton Council, School Board Reorganization Meetings

Officials will be sworn in at the upcoming reorganization meetings in Princeton this week.

PRINCETON, NJ — Five officials will be sworn into office on either the Princeton Council or Board of Education(BOE) this week.

School Board

On Tuesday, the Princeton BOE will hold its Organization meeting at 6 p.m. in the Valley Road Conference Room A & B.

Three candidates, Susan Kanter, Dafna Kendal, and Erica Snyder, will take the oath of office. The three members ran unopposed in the November 2025 election.

Kanter received 6,809 votes, Kendal received 6,885 votes, and Snyder received 7,404 votes.

During the meeting, a new BOE President and Vice President will be chosen. Members will also be assigned to six committees, including equity, long-term planning, operations, personnel, policy, and student achievement.

A meeting schedule and a resolution to award a $225,000 contract to Diamond Construction will also be voted on.

Council

A reorganization meeting for the Princeton Council will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Two incumbents, Mia Sacks and Michelle Pirone Lambros, will take the oath of office during the meeting.

Sacks and Lambros ran unopposed in the November 2025 election. Sacks received 8,328 votes, and Lambros received 8,253 votes.
