 Pop-Up Choir Princeton is an&nbsp;all-ages&nbsp;community singing experience where families, neighbors, and music-lovers come together to sing pop songs in harmony — no auditions, no pressure, just joy.
<ul><li>Kids and parents sing side-by-side</li><li>Adults who “used to sing” feel safe to try again</li><li>First-time singers get to experience the magic of choir</li></ul>
Sing shortened versions of well-loved pop songs arranged with easy-to-follow harmonies.
Rather than being divided by age or gender, singers choose the range that feels best for their voice: Low, Middle, or High.
Families sit together and work as a team — either choosing to all sing the same part or challenge each other to sing in harmony.
There will also be moments where singers can volunteer to sing a short line of the melody on their own. If you feel inspired, just raise your hand when prompted and you can try the melody while the choir supports you. Theme – “Earth, Wind &amp; Fire Medley” • “Let’s Groove Tonight” • “Shining Star” • “September”
<h4> A screen-free singing experience:</h4>
 Pop-Up Choir Princeton is intentionally phone-free and screen-free. Instead of staring at iPads or projectors, everyone receives a simple lyric sheet and learns the music together by ear and by voice — the way humans have always sung. This keeps the focus on listening, connection, and the shared energy of singing in the same room.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: Echoes in Our Bones will explore how themes of identity, history, and cultural resilience have endured and transformed across generations. The exhibition examines how these artists have explored and expanded the ideals articulated in the Declaration of Independence, “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”, using art as a powerful vehicle for expression, resistance, care, and community. Pairings of artists from past and present generations will include Faith Ringgold and Bisa Butler, Selma Burke and Allison Saar, Mary Lovelace O’Neal and Julie Mehretu, Betye Saar and Tschabalala Self, Carrie Mae Weems and LaToya Ruby Frazier, Laura Wheeler Waring and Jordan Casteel, Elizabeth Catlett and Kara Walker, and Howardena Pindell and Shinique Smith. Through these connections, the exhibition will not only showcase individual artistic voices but also trace a lineage of creative expression that has contributed to shaping and defining American art.

 Artist statement:
Born in Mumbai, raised in Dubai, and with years in the fast-paced design worlds of India and New York, New Jersey, Prajakta Joshi’s life has been an ongoing study in perspective. While her career led her to build her own design agency, her creative soul remains anchored in something gentler and far more enduring: the elemental wisdom of the natural world.
As a practitioner of Yoga and Ayurveda, Prajakta sees life not as a series of fixed moments, but as a quiet, rhythmic dance between Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Space. These elemental forces do not simply surround us; they flow through our minds and bodies, shaping how we experience growth and change.
In&nbsp;Rooted in Bloom, Prajakta turns her lens toward this subtle energy. Her paintings move beyond traditional depictions of flowers and landscapes, seeking instead to translate the invisible pulse of living things. Her work honors the forces of nature that guide us through transformation, using bold color and gestural forms to translate the emotional and physical impact of movement onto the canvas.&nbsp;Through the softer gradients, gestural forms, she captures the delicate impermanence of nature—the swift rush of air, the subtle shift of light, and the fleeting beauty of a moment caught just before it becomes a memory. Her work reminds us that to truly bloom, we must first allow ourselves to be moved by the quiet forces that sustain us.

Princeton Comic Makers presents: JERSEY ART MEETUPS (JAM), a weekly social event connecting creatives within the greater Central Jersey area through a shared passion for sequential art and new media. Attendees may use this open workshop space to draw, write, and develop their own artwork, with an opportunity to receive peer review and feedback from other members if desired. Illustrators, animators, writers, and generalists are all welcome to join and discuss their art and career goals, share learning resources, promote current projects, or find friends and collaborators. Together, we aspire to cultivate a local community that keeps artists motivated towards achieving their dreams! <ul><li>Open to ages 16+ of any skill level interested in any form of narrative art and design (i.e. Animation, Concept Art, Comics, Game Design, Picture Books, etc.)</li><li>Group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm. Casual attendance is accepted!</li><li>Bringing own materials is highly encouraged. Harvest of Hope is NAMI Mercer's annual conference offered at no charge as a gift of wellness to the community. Launched in 2009, Harvest of Hope traditionally brings more than 200 people together to learn strategies and resources that promote mental health and wellbeing while also deepening understanding of mental illness. 
This year our plenary session special guest is Landon Donovan, American Soccer star and mental health advocate. He will be live-streamed for a fireside chat led by talented, local playwright, David Lee White, who will be in-person. Donovan will address his serious battles with depression and how he found peace on and off the pitch. His recently released memoir is noted as "a powerful testament to resilience, identity, and the pursuit of self-acceptance." Conference goers will have the opportunity to engage in a live Q &amp; A with Donovan following the interview. 
The day also includes practical, interactive workshops, thoughtful conversations rooted in personal experience, a collaborative art project, an uplifting concluding activity, and plenty of opportunities for community-building. We consistently hear this day described as one that is uplifting, inspiring, and filled with hope.
