D&R Canal State Park Announces Weekday Path Closures Near Kingston
A Recreational Trails Program resurfacing project runs Sept. 21 through Oct. 16.

PRINCETON, NJ — A multiuse path in the Kingston area of the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park will be closed to the public on weekdays for nearly a month starting next week for a resurfacing project, according park officials.
The path, which runs from the Kingston Lock/Bridge Tender House off Route 27 in Mercer County to the Millstone Aqueduct in Plainsboro, Middlesex County, will be closed Monday through Thursday from Sept. 21 to Oct. 16, the park said.
The closure is due to a resurfacing project funded by the Recreational Trails Program, according to the park. The path will remain open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the closure period.
