The Princeton-native earned the 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction by the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund.
PRINCETON, NJ — Dr. Sam Wang, a Democratic candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 12th District, announced this week that his campaign has received the 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction from Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund.
The designation is given to candidates who support gun violence prevention policies and commit to advancing what the organization describes as commonsense gun safety measures.
According to Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund, the distinction signals to voters and supporters that a candidate prioritizes reducing gun violence and governing with public safety in mind.
