Princeton PD Increasing DWI Patrols For St. Patrick's Day Weekend
Princeton police will conduct heightened drunk driving enforcement from through March 17.
PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Police Department will conduct increased DWI patrols throughout the St. Patrick's Day weekend, running from Friday, March 13 through Tuesday, March 17, police announced.
Officers will be out in force looking for impaired drivers during the holiday period. Police are urging residents to plan a sober ride home before they begin drinking.
The department is also offering a free designated driver program for the weekend. Details on the program are available through the Princeton Police Department.

"If you drink, don't drive," police said in a statement. "Plan your sober ride home before the first pint."
