Sweetgreen Opening In Mercer Co., To Donate Meals To Princeton Nonprofit

PRINCETON, NJ — Sweetgreen will open its newest restaurant in the Princeton area on Sept. 19, and will donate a meal to Princeton-based nonprofit Share My Meals for every meal purchased on opening day, the company announced.

The California-based fast-casual restaurant chain known for its made-to-order salads and bowls will be located at 3535 Brunswick Pike, Suite 466.

The 2,440-square-foot location will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving the chain's menu of salads, warm bowls and protein-forward plates.

Alongside menu staples like the Crispy Rice Bowl and Miso Glazed Salmon, the new location will offer sweetgreen's lineup of wraps and a limited-time Fall Harvest menu, including the Autumn Harvest Bowl, a new Maple Glazed Salmon plate and a Roasted Bacon Brussels side.

Ahead of the opening, sweetgreen is hosting a sneak peek with a complimentary meal on Sept. 17 and 18; guests can RSVP through Eventbrite.

On opening day, the restaurant will host giveaways and pop-ups from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. while supplies last, including a matcha pop-up from Ooika, flowers from Bloombox Flowers, and ice cream from Nicholas Creamery.

The first 50 college students in line with a valid college ID will receive a free entrée, subject to terms.
