200 Club of Monmouth County Honors Service and Sacrifice During National Police Week

As our nation observes National Police Week, the 200 Club of Monmouth County pauses to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women in law enforcement who protect our communities each and every day.

National Police Week is also a time to remember those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and to show our unwavering support for the officers who continue to serve with integrity and dedication. Here in Monmouth County and across New Jersey, these individuals face extraordinary challenges, often putting themselves in harm’s way to keep others safe.

For more than five decades, the 200 Club of Monmouth County has stood beside our first responders and their families. Our mission is simple but vital: to provide immediate financial assistance to the families of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. We also offer scholarships to the children of first responders and recognize acts of extraordinary bravery through our annual Valor Awards.

Behind every uniform is a family who shares in the sacrifice. When tragedy strikes, the 200 Club is there -- offering not just financial support, but a message that our community stands with them in their time of need.

I’m proud to have served as President of the 200 Club of Monmouth County for the past two years, and I’m thrilled to welcome in our Edward Kirschenbaum as our new incoming President. But more importantly, I’m proud of the work this organization does to support Monmouth County’s first responders.
