BroadWalk Kick-Off Set In Red Bank: See Details

The seasonal pedestrian plaza is set to open soon, with live music, events and more planned throughout the summer.

RED BANK, NJ — An official opening date has been set for Red Bank’s annual BroadWalk, a seasonal pedestrian plaza that hosts outdoor dining, events and more on Main Street each year.

For 2026, the BroadWalk will officially open on Monday, May 11, though a special series of events will take place on the plaza for the BroadWalk’s kick-off on Friday, May 15, as well.

According to borough officials, the BroadWalk “reflects the energy and spirit of Red Bank.”

“This summer, our downtown pedestrian plaza on Main Street comes alive once again as a vibrant space for gathering, movement, and connection,” borough officials said.

“With live music, wellness programming, and family-friendly activities, the BroadWalk becomes a destination that reflects the energy and spirit of Red Bank.”

For this year’s BroadWalk kick-off, the borough will host a series of events with the Red Bank RiverCenter, which include:

  • 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Bounce House on BroadWalk)
  • 4:30 p.m. (Live performance on the BroadWalk stage by the Lakehouse Music Academy)
  • 7:00 p.m. (Big Hicks rocks BroadWalk)
  • 10:00 p.m. (After Party featuring a DJ at Street Kitchen + Pub)

Events will continue on the BroadWalk throughout the summer. The schedule for May can be seen below:
