Community Celebration Set For Red Bank Catholic: See Details

RED BANK, NJ — This fall, Red Bank Catholic is set to welcome alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends to campus for the Caseys United Celebration & Kickoff, marking the public launch of "the most ambitious philanthropic campaign in the school's history."

Created by the Red Bank Catholic Foundation, the Caseys United Campaign is "a transformational initiative designed to strengthen Red Bank Catholic for generations to come," officials said.

Through the establishment of a permanent endowment and investments in strategic priorities, the campaign aims to ensure that Red Bank Catholic continues to provide an exceptional Catholic education while preparing students to learn, lead, and thrive.

Established in 2022 as an independent 501(c)(3) organization, the Red Bank Catholic Foundation was created with a singular mission: to secure the long-term financial future of Red Bank Catholic by building a lasting culture of philanthropy and investment in the school.

The Foundation supports initiatives that enhance academic excellence, expand opportunities for students, strengthen faculty and staff, and preserve the school's vibrant campus for future generations.

After nearly two years of fundraising, Caseys United has already inspired remarkable generosity throughout the RBC community, school officials said.

Since late 2024, the campaign has raised nearly $11 million, providing significant momentum as it enters this new public phase.

The Caseys United Celebration & Kickoff (set to take place on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m.) will recognize this achievement while inviting the broader Casey community to help write the next chapter in Red Bank Catholic's history.

"The Red Bank Catholic Foundation has one overarching goal: to secure the financial future of RBC by building a permanent endowment while funding transformational projects outside of the school's operating budget," said William Juska '62, chairman of the Red Bank Catholic Foundation. "The Caseys United campaign is the first step in fulfilling the Foundation's promise."

“During the silent phase, the response from alumni, parents, and friends of RBC has been overwhelmingly positive," he continued. "We are excited to launch the public phase, where we anticipate the same extraordinary commitment from the wider Casey community."

Red Bank Catholic president Robert Abatemarco added that this campaign "reflects the enduring bond shared by generations of Caseys."

"Throughout my years serving as principal and now president,
I have witnessed firsthand the profound connection people feel to Red Bank Catholic," Abatemarco said. "Whether those memories were made in the classroom, on the playing field, on the stage, or in the hallways, the friendships, values, and faith formed here remain with our graduates for a lifetime."

"Those shared experiences unite generations of alumni and create the remarkable community we proudly call RBC," he continued. "It is for today's students — and for every Casey who will follow — that the Caseys United campaign was created."

The Caseys United Celebration and Kickoff will bring together generations of the Red Bank Catholic community to celebrate the campaign's early success, recognize its supporters, and invite alumni, families, and friends to participate in shaping the future of one of New Jersey's premier Catholic high schools.

Alec and Karan Taylor, RBC parents and vice chairman and trustee of the Red Bank Catholic Foundation, respectively, believe in Roman Catholic secondary school education and said they consider Red Bank Catholic "an excellent expositor of Catholic virtues and the essential educational disciplines.”

“Campaigns such as this one are indispensable to the curation of economic dynamism which must infuse and sustain any successful school," the Taylors said. "We are proud to support Caseys United, and ask all who love Red Bank Catholic, regardless of individual means and level of giving, to help the Foundation help the Caseys.”

Lindsey VanEgmond ‘06, alumni and tri-chair of the Caseys United campaign (along with Alec and Karan Taylor) added that the impact of a Red Bank Catholic education "extends far beyond the four years we spend on campus."

"It creates a lifelong connection rooted in faith, service, excellence, and community," VanEgmond said. "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have attended Red Bank Catholic and to be part of the Casey community. The Caseys United campaign is an investment to ensure that the experience and community that have shaped so many of our lives continue to inspire and transform future generations of Caseys.”
