Marquee Classic Movies Announces Winter Classic Film Series

Marquee Classic Movies has announced its Winter Classic Film Series, a three-month lineup of iconic films presented as one-night-only big-screen events in Red Bank.

The Winter Series opens in January with Alfred Hitchcock’s psychological masterpiece Vertigo (1958), followed by the romantic favorite Moonstruck (1987) in February and the beloved Irish classic The Quiet Man (1952) in March. Each screening is designed as a full evening experience that blends classic cinema with immersive elements and audience engagement.

Rather than a traditional movie showing, each event includes themed music, a classic short film, and a brief introduction before the feature presentation. Post-screening discussion, audience Q&A, and trivia prizes round out the evening.

Winter Series Schedule:

• Vertigo — Thursday, January 8
• Moonstruck — Thursday, February 12 (Valentine’s Week)
• The Quiet Man — Thursday, March 12 (St. Patrick’s Day Month)

All screenings begin at 6:00 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM.

“Classic films were made to be experienced with an audience,” said Debbie Higgins, co-host of Marquee Classic Movies and longtime film critic. “There’s a shared energy in the room that brings these movies to life in a completely different way.”

Co-host and co-producer Joe DeIorio said the Winter Series was designed to feel intentional and welcoming. “We want these nights to feel like a true night out — not just a movie, but an experience people can look forward to each month.”

Tickets are available for individual screenings, and memberships and passes are offered for those planning to attend multiple events throughout the season.
