New Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar Coming To The Grove: See Details

Set to open this spring, the new restaurant is looking to bring Mediterranean flavors, bold dishes and more to Shrewsbury.

SHREWSBURY, NJ — A new restaurant promising fresh ingredients, bold dishes, Mediterranean flavors and more is set to open at The Grove West this spring.

NUMA Modern Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar, located at 508 Broad Street, is set to open in Spring 2026 in the space where Albarino Tapas & Wine Bar used to be.

According to the NUMA website, the restaurant is a modern Mediterranean kitchen and bar that aims to bring “a refined dining experience” to Shrewsbury.

“Thoughtful design, polished service, and a menu rooted in bold flavors and high-quality ingredients come together to create an inviting and elegant experience,” the website reads.

While the NUMA menu hasn’t been released yet, Chefs Jiten Singh and Jack Cunningham told the Asbury Park Press that it will feature Southern French, Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisines.

In a video posted to the restaurant’s Instagram page, NUMA operators also discussed plans for a cocktail menu with 8-12 cocktail options.

“We’re really looking to bring a new sort of experience to this county that I think this area is lacking,” partner and operator Vansh Arora said.
