Police Training Exercise Planned In Red Bank: See Details

Residents may notice an increased police presence in the area while the training takes place, borough officials said.

RED BANK, NJ — A police training exercise is set to take place in Red Bank on Wednesday, borough officials said.

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the exercise will take place in the area of Bridge Avenue and Oakland Street, officials said.

During the training, residents may notice a large police presence in the area, including police and police vehicles from neighboring towns.

Though residents may notice an increased police presence, officials are emphasizing that this training is not related to Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) and does not pose a risk to public safety.

“We appreciate the community’s understanding as our officers participate in this important preparedness training,” borough officials said.
