Spirit Halloween Opens In Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY, NJ — While there's still plenty of summer left to enjoy, those ready for fall can get a head start on spooky season at the Spirit Halloween store that recently opened in Shrewsbury.

Located in the former Saks Off 5th store in Shrewsbury Plaza, the Spirit Halloween location is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 12-6 p.m. on Sunday.

Known as the largest Halloween retailer in North America, Spirit Halloween has over 1,450 pop-up locations in strip centers and malls across the region.

The shop is not only known for its wide variety of costume options, but also for decor, accessories, animatronics, inflatables and more.

"For more than four decades, Spirit has created immersive and interactive experiences for shoppers, complete with a unique and vast assortment of costumes and accessories for infants, toddlers, children, 'tweens, teens, and adults, along with exclusive décor and animatronics you won't find anywhere else," store officials said.

Alongside the products at Spirit Halloween, customers can also reach out to the Zombie Tech Squad for help setting things up from the store.

The squad is a set of trained experts with over 30 years of experience building, repairing, and troubleshooting props, animatronics, fog machines and lighting.

Spirit Halloween's Shrewsbury location is one of many across New Jersey, including shops in Bridgewater, Edison, Mays Landing, Paramus and more.

Spirit Halloween stores open on a rolling basis and will close on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.
