Bergen County Mom Dies At 55, Worked At Local Market While Battling Lou Gehrig's Disease
The Bergen County resident worked for several major corporations before battling Lou Gehrig's Disease.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Ramsey mom who worked for several corporations passed away on Sept. 11 after a three-year battle with ALS, her obituary said.
Kristen W. Kunz, 55, of Ramsey, had grown up in Midland Park and spent summers on Long Island. She worked for Smith Barney, Prime Charter LTD, Nine West, and Fuji Hunt. Recently, "Kristen worked at Steve's Market in Ramsey while living with ALS, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination," her obituary said.
ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. It's a progressive nervous system disorder.
