Formerly Bankrupt Store Chain Bringing Location Back To Bergen County

One store in a formerly bankrupt chain will re-emerge in Bergen County.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A national home goods chain that declared bankruptcy in 2023 and shut its stores is bringing the products back to New Jersey.

Although Bed Bath and Beyond shut down in 2023, it will soon be combined with five Container Stores in the Garden State, to be known as The Container Store + Bed Bath & Beyond.

The Bed Bath and Beyond co-branding is set to take place at 98 Container Stores, including at 370 Route 17 North, Suite 1, Paramus.
It will also take place in Bound Brook, Cherry Hill, Livingston, and Princeton.

"Beginning in May, the identified locations are expected to transition over the following months to The Container Store + Bed Bath & Beyond format, representing the Company’s future operating model," said a release from Bed Bath and Beyond. "The reimagined stores will combine The Container Store’s organizing solutions, in-home services and expertise with an expanded home assortment and complementary offerings from Bed Bath & Beyond."
