Pizzeria Based On 'Five Nights At Freddy's' Game Is Coming To North Jersey

NORTH JERSEY — "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza," a fictitious restaurant in the "Five Nights at Freddy's" video game series, will soon become a real place to eat, play games, and be entertained.

An immersive pizzeria attraction based on the franchise is coming to the American Dream entertainment/retail complex in Bergen County.

A spokesperson said the attraction will be "the world's first permanent immersive restaurant experience tied to the franchise."

ScottGames will help adapt the popular video game concept into an immersive attraction.

“For years, fans of 'Five Nights at Freddy's' have imagined what it would feel like to step inside Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and we’re thrilled to have been selected to finally bring that world to life, only at American Dream," said Don Ghemezian, chief executive officer at American Dream.

Customers will be able to step inside Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, play arcade games, dine, watch an animatronic show, and go behind the curtain to survive horror-inspired multi-player game experiences.

The attraction will be a fast-casual dining experience and include two animatronic stage shows featuring Freddy and the Fazbear Band on the Main Stage, along with Foxy the Pirate in Pirate Cove.

"The only way this experience succeeds is if it's created by a team that knows Five Nights at Freddy's inside and out," said Atreyu Alcantar, creative manager, licensing and location-based entertainment at American Dream, and Creative Lead for the attraction. "The animatronic show has to be authentic. The food has to be high quality."

She added, "We're not building a set that looks like Freddy Fazbear's Pizza — we're building Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. This experience will immerse longtime fans in the world they've imagined for years."
