Major Pharmacy Chain To Close 2 Bergen County Locations: Here's When
One of the Bergen County pharmacy locations is set to close this Thursday. See what time, and where prescriptions will be transferred.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A major pharmacy chain is set to close stores across the country, including two in Bergen County.
Walgreens says its Bogota pharmacy will close for good this Thursday.
The location on 33 River Road will be open until 10 p.m. on Wednesday (with the pharmacy section open until 7 p.m.) and from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, a representative said.

An outgoing message says prescriptions will be transferred to the location at 520 Cedar Lane in Teaneck.

A report in NJ Biz said that the Dumont store will close as well, with a target date of Sept. 3.
The chain, which was acquired by a private equity firm called Sycamore Partners in 2025, was initially planning to close hundreds of "underperforming" stores, reports said.
