Major Ridgewood Road To Close On Thursday And Next Week

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — East Glen Avenue in Ridgewood will be closed in both directions between Van Emburgh Avenue and East Saddle River Road for much of Thursday due to water main installation work, the town said.

The street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

East Glen Avenue also will be closed daily next week except for Tuesday, the town said.

"Please follow posted detours and allow extra travel time," the town said. "We appreciate your patience as this important infrastructure work is completed."

Juneteenth Information

The work will not be done Friday, and municipal offices will be closed for the Juneteenth holiday.

In observance of Juneteenth, all Village offices and departments (except emergency services) will be closed.

There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on that day, and the Recycling Center also will be closed.
