Ballet Arts marks its 50th anniversary this spring with a joyful new production of Coppélia, presented in collaboration with the Adelphi Orchestra. This family‑friendly classic comes to life May 2–3, 2026, at River Dell High School in Oradell, featuring live orchestral accompaniment, guest artists, and a multigenerational cast of local dancers and students.
Audiences will be swept into the charming tale of Swanhilda, Franz, and the eccentric Dr. Coppelius, brought to the stage with traditional village‑inspired sets, vibrant character dances, and Léo Delibes’ buoyant score conducted by Valentina Paolucci. The production highlights Ballet Arts’ deep commitment to community and arts education, offering students hands‑on experience in performance and stagecraft while honoring three graduating seniors in their final season.
