RUMSON, NJ — The polls have closed, and unofficial results are in for the Borough Council's Republican primary race.
With six out of six districts reporting, candidate Robert Eyerkuss III has secured 451 votes, followed by incumbent Gary Casazza, who secured 391 votes.

Incumbent Linda Smith, who was also running for one of the party's two open nomination spots, came in third, securing 350 votes, according to unofficial results.
No one filed a petition to run for council in the Democratic primary race.
