Extra Mile Basketball NJ

Extra Mile Basketball NJ is an elite youth basketball training program based in Lyndhurst, NJ, serving athletes ages 7–18 across Bergen, Essex, and Hudson County. We specialize in small-group and private performance training led by Coach James, an internationally experienced basketball coach with 17 years of experience and over 2,000 athletes trained across three countries.
Our program develops the complete player — ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, basketball IQ, leadership, and mental toughness. We train athletes across three age groups: Grades 2–5 (Ages 7–10), Grades 6–8 (Ages 11–13), and Grades 9–12 (Ages 14–18).
We offer flexible weekly training packages designed to accommodate different schedules and budgets — from a single drop-in session to a full monthly commitment. All skill levels are welcome, but athletes must come ready to work. Extra Mile Basketball is not for everyone.
Our Summer Camp 2026 is now open for registration. Packages start at $85 for 1 day up to $375 for the full 5-day experience, with 2 hours of high-intensity performance training per session. Free Extra Mile T-shirt included with 3, 4, and 5 day packages. Spots are limited and fill up fast.
