A 36-year-old Orange man was charged with aggravated assault, weapons possession and terroristic threats after throwing a pocketknife that struck a victim during an argument at the East Rutherford complex Friday night, State Police said.

6-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped From NJ Home

A 27-year-old Washington Borough man faces home invasion and kidnapping charges after a six-year-old girl was taken from her Warren County home early Saturday. She was found walking back alone about an hour later and taken to a hospital.

Violent, Disruptive Passenger Duct-Taped To Seat On NJ-Bound Flight

An Arizona man was restrained with duct tape and zip ties after allegedly hitting a passenger and directing slurs at a flight attendant on a Newark-bound American Airlines flight Thursday night; he was removed when the flight diverted to Baltimore.

1 Killed, 2 Hospitalized In Head-On Crash

A driver was killed and two others hospitalized Saturday afternoon on Route 206 in Andover Township. According to police, one of the vehicles was traveling northbound when it crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into the oncoming car. Police are currently withholding the victim's identity.

Cop Arrested For DUI, Leaving Scene Of Crash

An off-duty Cranford patrol officer was arrested early Saturday and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of a single-vehicle crash without reporting it, according to NJ.com. He has been suspended pending investigation.

80-Year-Old Diver Dies After Medical Emergency Off Barnegat Light

An 80-year-old diver died Friday after surfacing unresponsive from a dive off Barnegat Light; the Coast Guard assisted the dive boat to shore, where the diver was pronounced dead, according to NJ.com.
