Summit Reschedules Resident Listening Session With Local Leaders, Adds Additional Date

The informal session will not follow typical time restraints of the official council meetings.

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit's Common Council wants to hear from the city's residents on how leaders can continue to improve the community.

Due to Monday's blizzard, the originally scheduled informal listening session was moved to Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Benson Room of the Summit Community Center.

An additional session was added on Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Youth Lounge.

Mayor Elizabeth Fagan and at least three councilmembers will be on hand to listen to residents in a relaxed and direct environment without the time constraints of a formal meeting.

The Summit Community Center is located at 100 Morris Ave.
