Tatlock Field Upgrades Ahead Of Schedule Says BOE

SUMMIT, NJ — The Tatlock Field construction project is progressing faster than expected and is currently tracking to come in at or below its approved budget, according to city officials.
“The project is still projected to be completed against the budget with the potential for some favorability,” said Operations Committee Chair Carlos Mahecha.
With work moving ahead of schedule, officials said student-athletes could begin benefiting from portions of the upgraded facility even before the project is fully completed.

“The construction is slightly ahead of schedule, and the committee is hopeful that the lacrosse team will be able to use some of the facility through partial access of the build,” Mahecha added.
Recent changes to the project include several infrastructure and safety upgrades, including dedicated quad outlets for security equipment, seal coating along the parking lot walkway, new guard rails along the Field House roofline, and the addition of video equipment.
