10K In Jewelry Stolen From Ocean County Mall Store, Report Says

An Atlantic County man has been charged in connection with the theft, the report said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — An Atlantic County man has been charged in connection with a $10,000 theft from a jewelry store at the Ocean County Mall, according to a report.

Jeremy Ruga, 38, of Dorothy, has been charged with theft in the incident on April 10 at Kay Jewelers, Jersey Shore Online reported.

Ruga is accused of taking a 14-karat gold necklace and running out of the store after asking to look at it, the report said.

Ruga was arrested and charged on April 15, the report said. He was not listed in the Ocean County jail inmates roster as of Friday.
