'A New Chapter Begins': Beloved Jersey Shore Bakery Reopens With New Owners

SEASIDE PARK, NJ — A beloved Jersey Shore bakery has officially reopened under new ownership.

Colonial Park Bakery, located at 408 SE Central Avenue in Seaside Park, officially opened to customers on July 2.

The family bakery has been around since 1998 in Sunset Manor and recently purchased Park Bakery in Seaside Park as a second New Jersey location.

In an online post, the bakery's new owners spoke about the reopening, adding that they're honored to "carry on the tradition of serving fresh, quality baked goods made with care."

"First thing tomorrow morning, a new chapter begins. After months of hard work, renovations, inspections, early mornings, and countless finishing touches, we’re finally ready to welcome you through our doors," the owners said. "We couldn’t be more grateful for the patience, encouragement, and excitement you’ve shown us along the way."

"Taking over such a beloved neighborhood bakery is a privilege we don’t take lightly, and we’re honored to carry on the tradition of serving fresh, quality baked goods made with care."

At Colonial Park Bakery, customers can choose from a variety of menu options, ranging from crumb buns to donuts, breakfast pastries, bread, cake, cookies and more.

Since the grand reopening, the bakery has had a warm welcome from the local community, who the owners thanked for "making our first day so memorable."

"Thank you to everyone who stopped by to celebrate the opening of our Seaside Park location," the owners said in an online post. "Whether you grabbed your morning coffee, picked up pastries, or simply came in to say hello, we are so grateful for the incredible support.

"We also want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding as we continue to make this space our own," they continued. "While we’re settling in, fine-tuning our systems, and training our new staff, we appreciate every bit of grace you’ve shown us."

"To our amazing team — thank you for your hard work, positive attitudes, and nonstop effort during such a busy first day. You handled every rush with smiles, and we couldn’t be prouder of what you accomplished today."
